PTAP2131 : Rehabilitation for Specialized Disorders Lab

This laboratory course provides hands-on application of rehabilitation techniques for individuals with specialized and complex conditions. Students practice skills related to pelvic health, amputation management, integumentary care, pediatric handling, and bariatric patient considerations. Emphasis is placed on safe intervention, patient positioning, clinical observation, and adaptation of care to support functional outcomes within the physical therapist assistant scope of practice.
