PTAP1211 : Patient Care Skills Lab

This laboratory course provides hands-on application of foundational patient care skills for the physical therapist assistant. Students practice safe patient handling, transfers, assistive device training, vital sign assessment, infection control procedures, and basic wound care techniques. Emphasis is placed on developing clinical reasoning, communication, documentation, and patient-centered care skills to support safe and effective implementation of the physical therapy plan of care.
