PTAP1350 : Pathology for the Physical Therapy Assistant

This course examines common diseases, disorders, and medical conditions encountered in physical therapy practice across body systems and the lifespan. Students explore the etiology, pathophysiology, clinical presentation, and medical management of conditions affecting cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, neurological, and other systems. Emphasis is placed on recognizing red flags, understanding pharmacological implications, and applying clinical reasoning to support safe and effective patient care.
